Graceland University's online MSN for Florida nurses
Florida nurses can take Graceland University's online MSN: the School of Nursing's June 2020 chart marks Florida Yes, and Florida's program-approval statute speaks only to schools preparing new nurses. Each Florida site and preceptor still needs Graceland's approval, so get written word from the School of Nursing that it accepts Florida residents before you enroll or relocate.

Florida on Graceland's chart
Florida's MSN row gives a one-line reason for its Yes: the Florida Board of Nursing leaves post-licensure nursing education unregulated. With no state gate on the degree itself, the licensure question here is short. The row carries the chart's June 2020 date, and Graceland has not posted anything newer.

The chart settles licensure, not placement. Graceland has no public list of states where it may place practicum students, so the Florida answer has to come by email from the contact named on the School of Nursing page. Moving to Florida partway through? Read relocating during the program first.
Protocols, and a statute written for new-nurse programs
AANP places Florida in its restricted group: some Florida NPs must stay tied to a physician through a written protocol for as long as they practice, with exemptions in certain cases. Many NP preceptors you meet will work under a written protocol, which is no obstacle for Graceland. Graceland judges each preceptor against its own preceptor requirements, whatever the state's supervision model.
Florida's program-approval statute, 464.019, is addressed to schools wishing to prepare people for a first nursing license in Florida, and the Board frames its own approval job that way too. Nothing turned up in Florida law that makes a graduate, APRN or RN-BSN program from elsewhere apply or give notice before its students arrive. What your Florida site sees is Graceland's own paperwork: the site contract its coordinators send, plus Appendix A and Appendix B.
Florida systems, metros and TEACH funding
AdventHealth, headquartered in Florida though it runs hospitals in several states, is one common starting point; others include UF Health, BayCare Health System, Baptist Health South Florida and HCA Florida Healthcare. Jacksonville, Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford, Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater and Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach, the four big metros, hold most options. Take these as examples of where students search; every one sets its own terms for students, and listing it here implies no arrangement with Graceland.
Through TEACH, a state program that depends on appropriations, Florida pays qualifying facilities, rural health clinics and federally qualified health centers among them, for each clinical hour they give students. The money follows only students whose accredited program is based in Florida, so Graceland students' hours fall outside it. AGACNP students also need to plan travel to Graceland's Independence, Missouri campus, where their focus session meets.
Your Florida license for practicum hours
Graceland looks for two unencumbered RN licenses, or one multistate license covering both: your home state and each practicum state, proven with a board verification in Castle Branch. A multistate license issued to a Florida resident, possible since the state's compact start on January 19, 2018, answers both for sites inside the state. Nurses who relocate to Florida should settle which state is their primary residence, and which license follows, before the next practicum term. PMHNP students need a license wherever each telehealth patient is sitting during the visit.

Does Florida require Graceland to get Board approval for my practicum?
Florida's program-approval law, section 464.019, is aimed at schools that prepare new nurses in Florida, and nothing found in Florida law extends it to graduate or APRN programs from other states. Graceland's contract coordinators still put a signed affiliation agreement in place with every Florida site before hours can begin.
Can an NP working under a Florida physician protocol precept me?
Yes, if the NP meets Graceland's own standard. Graceland's handbook sets its preceptor criteria by degree, experience and an unencumbered license where the site sits; it does not turn on whether a state requires a physician protocol. Each NP is reviewed through Appendix B, the preceptor's own application, before approval.
Will a Florida health center receive TEACH funding for my Graceland hours?
No. TEACH reimbursement is limited to students whose accredited program is Florida-based, and Graceland's online programs run from Independence, Missouri. A health center can still host you if it agrees to Graceland's affiliation agreement, but your hours will not count toward its TEACH claims.
I just moved to Florida. Can I keep going with Graceland?
Possibly, but check before your next term. A Graceland disclosure page cautions that a mid-program move to a new state can change whether you continue, meet that state's requirements and keep financial aid. Florida is Yes on the 2020 chart, yet the School of Nursing still has to confirm it can approve Florida practicums for you, and your license must match your new primary state.
