A "Yes" with an expiry date
Louisiana's MSN row says the state's board wants a report from the program every three years to keep approval, then gives the end date of the approval in force at the time. All four rows date from June 2020.

A lapsed date on an old chart does not prove the approval lapsed; Graceland may simply not have republished. It does mean the chart cannot settle the question on its own. The licensure disclosures guide shows how to get a current answer in writing.

What Louisiana asks of programs from other states
Louisiana spells this out in detail. Its rule at LAC 46:XLVII.3539 says a nursing program run from another state, undergraduate or graduate, must win approval from the Louisiana State Board of Nursing before a single course or clinical experience happens in the state. The program's request letter identifies the clinical agencies and the units within them, and it travels with the curriculum, syllabi, catalog, a survey of each clinical facility, faculty qualification forms and exam pass data, a full six months ahead of the first offering.
Behind the request, the program must already hold its home state's approval, regional accreditation, and a national nursing accreditor's stamp that Louisiana's board recognizes. An approval can run as long as three years, with renewal by petition, the same cycle Graceland's row describes.
Approval starts the obligations rather than ending them. Graduate students appear on a clinical experience spreadsheet the board collects, due no more than two weeks after each experience begins. Faculty who instruct in the state must be licensed in Louisiana as an RN, APRN or both, hold a master's or higher in nursing and bring at least two years of clinical work. In precepted courses, faculty talk with the preceptor and student every week, visit the site once or more each term, and keep APRN students to nine or fewer per faculty member on any clinical day. Collaborative practice and where students search
AANP counts Louisiana as reduced practice: some part of every NP's practice runs through a collaborative practice agreement with a physician. Board-certified or board-eligible physicians can precept Graceland students directly; the complete standard is on the preceptor requirements page.
By population, Louisiana's metros run New Orleans-Metairie, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, then Shreveport-Bossier City. Systems in NP students' searches range from Willis-Knighton Health to Ochsner Health, with LCMC Health, Baton Rouge General and FMOL Health (run by the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady) in between. Each writes its own rules for students and none has a standing arrangement with Graceland. No Louisiana preceptor incentive is on record.
RN licensing for a Louisiana practicum
Multistate licenses have been valid in Louisiana since July 1, 2019. If your home state also belongs to the compact, its multistate RN license generally covers practice here. Graceland still requires an unencumbered license in your home state and in each practicum state, confirmed by the board; the RN license guide walks through it. PMHNP students need licensure wherever each telehealth patient is located.

Is Graceland still approved to offer practicums in Louisiana?
The chart can't say. Graceland's June 2020 MSN row lists approval through 12/14/20, and no later chart has been posted. Louisiana grants these approvals for three years at most, renewable on petition, so a renewal may well exist. Ask the School of Nursing for its current Louisiana status before you enroll or schedule hours.
What does the Louisiana board need before my clinical hours start?
The rule puts the work on the program: a request naming clinical agencies and units, curriculum documents and faculty qualifications, six months before the offering. A clinical experience spreadsheet for each graduate student then reaches the board within two weeks of the start. Your job is to know your site and preceptor early.
Do I need a Louisiana RN license for a practicum there?
If your home state is in the compact and you hold its multistate license, that generally covers RN practice in Louisiana. A home state outside the compact means applying for a Louisiana license. Graceland wants board verification either way.
Could I do my practicum in Mississippi or Texas instead?
Both states read "Yes" on Graceland's June 2020 MSN chart, but each handles programs from other states in its own way, and each needs Graceland's approval for your practicum. The Mississippi and Texas guides cover those rules.
